Why I Chose Tokina 80-400mm Lens

I chose this Tokina 80-400mm lens as it was half the price of the Canon and this lens will complement my Tokina 11-16mm lens nicely. At first I looked at the Canon 70-200mm f/4 lens which was getting many rave reviews online but I was not convinced with the zoom range especially when combined with a teleconvertor. After looking for an alternative lens for a while, I found this Tokina lens. I simply love the flexibility and cost of this Tokina lens. This lens is very good especially when you use it with a teleconverter. It will get significantly longer and you will be able to enjoy shooting more telephoto action with this lens. This lens has a very good build quality and feels which makes a very good first impression on me. However, this lens is far from perfect, but Tokina gives you everything that you are willing to pay for it. For the price, I am very happy.
Before I purchase this Tokina 50-135 lens, I was using the Sigma 50-500mm lens. I bought the Sigma because of its long range and positive reviews online. However, I soon found out that the Sigma is not the right lens for me. The Sigma is way too big and heavy for my purpose. The small aperture at the longest end does not help my photography as well. So, I made the decision to sell the Sigma and bought this Tokina. This Tokina can replace my Sigma lens easily. The lightweightness and sturdiness on this Tokina are what the Sigma lens is missing. Given the choice, I would grab the Tokina easily. The Tokina has a f/2.8 aperture which helps me with my photography a lot. I was able to shoot in dim light with no problem. I was not able to do this with the Sigma and I am simply enjoying every moment with my Tokina lens.

The Best Sony Lens is Sony 70-400?

Do you all agree that the best Sony Alpha lens is the Sony 70-400 lens? I personally do not think so. In my opinion, this lens is way too expensive for what it can deliver. I was able to get much better pictures with the cheaper lenses like the Tamron 70-300 VC USD lens. For the money, I would not buy that lens. Instead, I would spend the money on cheaper alternative lenses that will bring more photographic enjoyment for me. The thing that I do not like about the 70-400 lens is the weight that is attached to it. I do love the build quality of the lens though. I know you cannot remove the weight from it if you want solid build quality, but at least Sony must make one that is like their kit 16mm f/2.8 NEX lens in this matter. All in all, you should try the lens yourself.

Canon 50mm 1.2 Creating School Memories

I was informed by the school photographer that our annual school photographs were being taken using the Canon 50mm 1.2.
